The Ark Fellows Programme
Have an impact beyond your classroom. Way beyond.
As an Ark teacher, you have the chance to work alongside great colleagues from different subjects, schools and cities. But why stop there? As an international charity, we want our teachers to share their expertise and learn from colleagues in schools across the globe, not just the UK. That’s where ArkFellows comes in…
Ark Fellows is an opportunity for talented and ambitious teachers to work in our international schools - a chance to do something amazing with your summer or Easter holidays. It is also a unique opportunity to develop professionally in a wholly new context.
“The Ark Fellows programme was an outstanding experience that I will never forget. It developed me as a leader and gave me the chance to observe and experience education in a very different setting.” -- Daniela Grasso (Ark Bentworth)
Working with a partner school in South Africa, India or Uganda, you’ll work collaboratively with local staff in a particular area of school leadership - previous fellows have worked across areas such as curriculum development, teacher training and school culture.
- Build your leadership skills
- Experience our work in a different context
- Develop an international school
- Travel to Africa or India on a fully-funded trip
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a combination of exceptional teachers who have experience training their peers, and outstanding school leaders who can support our partners as they strive for excellence in challenging circumstances.
